Having worked in a highly regulated industry, most highly regulated businesses leadership takes compliance with the regulations very seriously.

I guess with elected city government officials, not so much.

I know I couldn’t do anything like this and get away with it.

To me, if I were in such a job, I wouldn’t even justify the use of the government credit to buy me a lunch.
