So let’s hear the particulars. Which “UK Jewish groups,” and what non-Jewish groups joined them in this endeavor. When did it start? What was the program?
” As bad as the UK might be going to Israel would be like jumping from the frying pan into the fire. I hardly think Israel could be considered a safe place these days but if that’s where he wants to go good luck.”
I’ve been here for 15 years. Didn’t come for the safety. I doubt this comic is, either. But on the subject of safety, here’s the measure. Sure, there are people who want to hurt you for being Jewish in both the UK, the US, and Israel. The difference is, we can pick our response here, in accordance with our interests. In the UK, everything depends on the interests of the politicians providing the security.
And as events have consistently shown, the interests of the politicians is often with the perpetrators of violence, not their victims.
But everything isn’t security. Or money. I’m in Israel to live in the Holy Land, and for the quality of life here, the wealth of experience. Perhaps Lee Kern has similar considerations.
I don’t live in the UK so I don’t know the names of the specific groups or individuals pushing for “diversity” but I can guarantee some Jewish groups and individuals are at the forefront in pushing this there just as they’ve been doing in every other Western country. Are you trying to pretend that’s not the case? And what’s particularly infuriating is many of them preach nationalism for Israel but globalism for everybody else. Hypocrites.
