You can go back that far and prove your point, or you can go to the 1920s, or 1940s.
The overwhelming majority of Arabs in the bounds of modern Israel came after the Jewish landowner’s improvements to properties and infrastructure. They were recent economic migrants who moved in to take advantage of the improved economy.
