uh, first it’s UNDER 14 in most states. The law is very specific and 15 in a “victim” is typically statutory. If it is violent, then rape or other assault charges can be in play buy it is not pedophilia.
The law is not based on your opinion it is based on input from doctors and others who work with victims. And those previously victimized. This psych definition reflects the basis for current laws.
