President Trump will be appealing the illegal gag order on constitutional grounds.
Gag order will be overturned.
WITCH HUNT
Will this happen in a timely manner, during the trial when it matters, or well after and backdated to appear that President Trump had a fair say after all?
What day is scheduled for hearing of an actual crime in this criminal proceeding? I don’t want to miss it./s
With the 1st Amendment, how do gag orders exist?
At its finest.
They don't.
I believe it’ll be filed on an interlocutory basis.
Of course the gag order is likely to be overturned but it wil be AFTER the trial and moot (doesn’t matter) in the court.
Can Trump file for an immediate stay?
Or would it be better for him to push them to put him in jail first?
Gag orders are normally applied to the prosecution to avoid tainting the jury pool. It’s never intended to be used against the defendant. The prosecution by definition doesn’t need protection — the defendant does.
Not an interlocutory appeal.
Hope Hicks is taking the stand.
Don’t hold your breath 😂
Show trials like this are information war. Legitimate application of law and pursuit of impartial justice aren’t on the menu.
I wonder what the Biden/Lawfare guys running this case plan for jury instructions, which have to cite specific laws that the defendant is either guilty or not guilty of violating. They must have some trick up their sleeve, and the sooner this is outed the better.
Presumably once the State ends its case, the Defense will move for dismissal on the grounds that no felony was even alleged much less proved, and that the prosecution introduced prejudicial material, in clear violation of the NY Supreme Court’s recent dismissal of the Harvey Weinstein convictions for exactly that. If the motions are denied, it should be appealed as far as it takes so that this never reaches the jury.
For the record, I’m not a lawyer, just an amateur observer.
That will slow things down a bit....................
