At some point about 4-5 moths ago, Trump sad he’s already made his VP pick and around the same time is when Vivek joined his campaign.

I don’t care what Bloomberg and the Lying Leftist Media says.

I’m still hoping Vivek will be his VP as Vivek is the ONLY one on the national stage who has consistently uttered words and intentions that will move MAGA into 2028 and beyond after Trump is gone.

I doubt very seriously that Rubio is a contender but he’s not the worst thing that could happen. I like Carson (not in the running anymore?), Burgum and Vance, the last being the #1 choice

Rubio? Is McCain not available?

And the last thing America needs is a Cube in the White Hut.

Burgum or Vance would be OK with me. Not that Trump is asking for my opinion. 😏

Definite “No” to Rubio and Scott.

I’d be happy with either Vance or Burgum.

FYI, from the article

“A source familiar with the conversation previously told The Post that biotech mogul Vivek Ramaswamy is almost definitely out of the running for VP, while allies of the former president said South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem has “no shot” at the position after she recounted a 20-year-old story about killing her dog.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis also ruled himself out as Trump’s running mate in a February call with donors.

Bloomberg reported Thursday that the former president had narrowed his choices to four top contenders: North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum and Republican Sens. JD Vance of Ohio, Marco Rubio of Florida and Tim Scott of South Carolina.”

Who comes up with these choices??????? “Let’s pick the most lackluster, unimaginative people that will bore everybody to death. He’d be smart to pick a choice that has a chance to appeal to the voters he might need to get 50+%.Suburban women would definitely respond well to a woman. Independents would truly appreciate Tulsi Gabbard. I think she would be the smartest choice. Be strategic. Blunt the possibility of losses. Pick someone that would be your advocate, is attractive, smart & could bring in some voters. Don’t do what we always do. For God’s sake, do something interesting!! 😉

I favor Vance: he is a superstar, articulate, committed, seems to be a great guy.

Vivek is too young and not that popular. He’d be good in the cabinet though.

Vance has been very successful in life. When people who don’t know his back story see him they don’t think he’s somebody who came up from the bottom.

Rubio’s from Florida where Trump lives. Neither is going to move and Trump is likely to win Florida even without Rubio.

Burgum is from a state that has few electoral votes and that Trump will carry anyway. His business success backstory is similar to Trump’s and it’s not clear how much Trump could trust him.

I just don't see North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum being a good fit for Legit President Trump.

Trump's "volatile" and Burgum is the polar opposite from what I've seen.

Little Marco not a good fit in any way I can see.

Same for Tim Scott. Say what you want about Tim Scott, he presents himself as a decent, man of faith and I just don't see a fit between him and Trump.

That leaves JD Vance. A couple years of experience in the US Senate makes him VP material? I think he's a logical guy, well spoken, presents his ideas and arguments well but is he "ready?"

My only conclusion is: it's not really any of the above. It's someone else and it's going to be a surprise.

I think folks need to remember that, in addition to making picks, the people picked must also be on board with serving with and for Trump.

In my opinion, that was a problem during Trump’s earlier term. He could pick the best people. But if they didn’t want the position he offered, then he had to offer the positions to others who did. And he got who he got. I think a lot of good people that may have been tapped had an eye to an uncertain future and worried if they worked with Trump, their chances of working with another administration could be severely diminished and perhaps politely refused.

JMHO on that matter.

Sad when this is all it takes to end a republican. The Dems rarely destroy one of their own.

I don’t really know anything about Burgum. I like what I have seen from JD Vance a lot. As to Marco Rubio and Tim Scott—ugh. Is some “advisor” intentionally trying to hamstring Trump’s campaign?
