I also thought he may be a con man, as he was relatively unknown. I observed a couple of things which gave me pause.
I noted that neither Trump nor Vivek went after each other for all of the time Vivek was in the running, until that very last dust-up. It could very well have been theater.
What I noted mainly is the Lara Trump really liked him, and made a point at the start of an interview with Vivek, that she was the first one of the Trump family to meet him a couple of years prior, and introduced him into the family. She seemed to be very proud of that, as if she had discovered him or something. Then I thought that if he has been friends with the whole Trump family, as she said, for a couple of years or so, wouldn’t he be on the excrement list for turning around and running against Trump in the primary? I found that odd - and it brought me to my conclusion that he only ran for president to get himself out there....to become a known entity. The whole time he was campaigning I referred to him as Proxy Trump. He said everything that needed to be said, plus he had the freedom to say some hard-hitting stuff that Trump may have better left unsaid.
What I then noted was that immediately after the first loss, he got out right away, and, frankly, he didn’t seem terribly bothered by the loss. It was like he took the first off-ramp, as planned, and endorsed President Trump.
Another thing that made me rethink is that Laura Loomer likes him. She is pretty good at sniffing out the weeds....she likes him and interviewed him very favorably. Since he’s been out, it feels like he’s still out on the campaign trail....working to get President Trump re-elected, but I just get the feeling he has more than the normal interest in it.
I could be completely wrong, but that’s when I decided the whole Vivek run for president was to make him and his views well known, and even get him a “base”. If you think about it, if President Trump does want him for VP, it would have looked very odd choosing someone who was a complete unknown. Nobody had heard of Vivek until he ran for president. How foolish President Trump would have appeared choosing a complete unknown.
Vivek is also an outsider (like Trump), shrewd businessman (like Trump) and absolutely relishes calling out the fake news and the swamp (even more so than Trump). He communicates to a different set of people and is very quick on his feet.
Unless he is a con-man, I think he’s a brilliant choice for VP. Oh, he also checks one of the boxes, in that he’s not an evil white heterosexual toxic male lol. Very important.
If not Vivek, I’d have to go with Vance or Donalds. Definite thumbs down for Gabbard, Stefanik, or Noem. I do like Kari Lake.
You make some interesting points. I’m still skeptical, but we’ll see.
Rubio is from Florida…just another BS made up article to fill space. All speculation for clicks. They don’t even try to make this stuff believable.
Doesn’t have many good choices. The Republican Party are the ones killing us.

Rubio and Scott? No thanks. I’ll stay home.
How does any of them help him get elected? Just saying...
At some point about 4-5 moths ago, Trump sad he’s already made his VP pick and around the same time is when Vivek joined his campaign.
I don’t care what Bloomberg and the Lying Leftist Media says.
I’m still hoping Vivek will be his VP as Vivek is the ONLY one on the national stage who has consistently uttered words and intentions that will move MAGA into 2028 and beyond after Trump is gone.
I doubt very seriously that Rubio is a contender but he’s not the worst thing that could happen. I like Carson (not in the running anymore?), Burgum and Vance, the last being the #1 choice
I think Vivek Ramaswami would be a real good chief of staff... reality is that the chief of staff. Operation wise is more of an important pick then vice president wjhen it comes to the president being effective.
How so?
Scott is a RINO mentored by Miss Lindsey Graham
Zero evidence anything has changed. None. .Gov requires micromanagers in many aspects, Trump isn’t that. One would need a very strong Chief of Staff to get stuff done. All I see of late is yes men, nothing will get fixed with that.
He’s an insincere opportunist grifting off of the MAGA movement, IMO. That’s the vibe I get from him. His sneaky appeal to primary voters to vote for him in order to save Trump, only reenforced my suspicions.
No NeoCons under any circumstances. Pence was one.
Rubio? Is McCain not available?
And the last thing America needs is a Cube in the White Hut.
I’m with you.
And supposedly claims to be a virgin. If he’s never tamed a woman, you don’t put him in as veep.
No to all
