Well, the context was Twit/X, so there’s that. And while everyone hates google and flakebook, X seems to be enjoy the favor of anyone to the right of Chuck Schumer lately. I get that - compared to Scary Jack, Elon looks like John Wayne. But how quickly memory of his creeoy wiccan wife fades.

But notwithstanding any of that, concentrations of power in any way, shape, or form are supposed to be suspect to conservatives, even when they are held by seemingly benevolent actors. Human nature and all.

And that was really my only point. That Elon, the fair-haired guardian of Free Speech, holds too much power, but people seem to not notice that.

I would agree. But Musk is a far lesser light in the social media space than the other companies. what they do that musk does not do —is hide behind their corporate veils. you see the actions of the corporations but not the actions of the individuals. With musk you see the actions of the individual. Its easier to get into a pissing match with the individual than it is with the corporation.
