"I thought Trump supports Johnson?"

He has...publicly. He also supported McCarthy publicly as well. I can't stand either one of them, but won't question President Trump on his public support for them. He has his reasons. If he wins in November, I have no faith that Congress will do anything to help him get things done. Executive orders only last until the next President overrides them. And Donald Trump may be the last Republican President ever elected.

I could likely be dead before the next Presidential election, but if I'm still around, I won't be voting in any election ever again. Once President Trump is out of the picture, there are no viable candidates to replace him, and I doubt any would miraculously appear in the next four years. I will not hold my nose to vote for somebody I know is bad for the country, just to keep a seat Republican. That only perpetuates the Rino problem. The GOP is a useless party. Has been for a very long time. It doesn't deserve my support or vote. I left the party in the aftermath of January 6th. Too many of them willing to accept electors they knew were illegal, and nothing has changed with the party in the past four years. In fact, it's only gotten worse.

I won't be voting again for my first-term GOP Representative this year. He's regularly voted to send money to Ukraine, voted for the last Expenditure Bill, voted to keep FISA, and was absent April 20th, on the vote for aid to Ukraine, Taiwan, and Israel. He missed the vote, according to his office, in order to attend the funerals for two police officers killed in the line of duty in Syracuse, New York, which is part of his district. As I told the young man who answered my call, it was good he hadn't shown up for the vote, as he would have likely voted for all three of those Bills. I also told them that I wouldn't be voting for him again, that I had given him a chance, but he had blown the opportunity.
