“I complain about leftist Jewish influence and debate the why as much as any poster here but I know from a lifetime of Jewish immersion that the Jews I’ve known have little to no chosen chauvinism”
__________
My friends and I never spoke about being chosen during my childhood/ But I did not grow up that religious. The religious Jews talk about it, but not in terms of hating non-Jews. It is complicated in ways that I am not familiar with. Jews are “chosen” to have a Covenant with God. That non Jews do not have. This Covenant involves the men obeying 613 laws. The women have a different deal.

If Jews thought non-Jews are inferior. Then how come they marry them so often? Perhaps the non-Jew marries a Jewish man to convert and become Chosen too...Hahahha... Hey, let’s spread that good thing called Choseness around a bit. Why should only Jews get it via their birth? _____ And “Us non-Jews and Christians got gypped?”
Mixed marriages — When I hear that a Hollywood actor is Jewish, I get curious. It is amazing how many are only half Jewish. Paul Newman for example. “Paul’s mother was a practitioner of Christian Science.”
Just about all American Indian tribes I read about, called themselves “The People”. They considered other tribes inferior. So “Choseness” has been practiced all through history.
The Cherokee considered themselves the Real People
Maybe since they were Iroquoian a long way from original home?
