I’d imagine republicans sued to have homeless relocate or get arrested. So the Supreme Court has to decide if this is constitutional.

Incarceration is expensive, and in this case not much of a deterrent. No reasonable person wants tent cities, but municipal authorities have limited options dealing with people who’ve chosen vagrancy as a lifestyle.
