That’s the problem. They just might and then it’s off to the races for both sides. It would be nice to say it’s half way round the world and won’t affect us but we’ve been put right in the middle of it. The Iranians absolutely have the ability to put one of our carriers on the bottom of the Persian Gulf.
We have the ability to completely destroy every port on their coast rendering them wholly unable to engage in commerce.
Their port security really sucks.
