Singer Kelly Clarkson is the latest to jump on the pro-abortion bandwagon. The other day she falsely claimed that pro-life laws “literally kill” women. There’s just one problem with her claim. It’s 100% false.
Not one single woman has died because of an abortion ban since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
But here’s what Clarkson has to say:
“Last week we saw the Arizona Supreme Court uphold a law from 1864 that bans nearly all abortions,” the talk-show host and musician said during Monday’s episode of NBC’s The Kelly Clarkson Show.
“Did you ever think in your lifetime that we would see that happen?” Clarkson asked former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Clinton responded by calling the Arizona court decision “horrifying in every way.”
“I feared it would happen, but I hoped it wouldn’t happen,” Clinton continued. “And now here we are in the middle of this very difficult period for women in about half the states of our country, who cannot get the care that they need.”
“I literally asked God, this is a real thing, to just take me and my son in the hospital for the second time, because I was like, ‘It’s the worst thing,’” the singer said, before pausing to apologize as she apparently became emotional.
“It was my decision and I’m so glad I did it, I love my babies, but to make someone — and you don’t realize how hard it is,” Clarkson added. “The fact that you would take that away from someone, that can literally kill them.
Here’s the reality. Since Dobbs, abortions have killed women.
In February, a woman died after a supposedly “routine” surgical abortion at an abortion business in Australia. The tragic death of the young woman is another reminder that abortion is not safe for women, even when legal.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, 30-year-old Harjit Kaur, a mother of two children, decided to have an abortion when she found out she was pregnant with her third child. Kaur had a surgical abortion at the Hampton Park Women’s Health Clinic abortion center in Melbourne.
Abortion is legal in Australia and has been for decades. But after this abortion, the clinic called Kaur’s husband and informed him the abortion has taken his wife’s life.
Kaur is the third woman in the last 12 months to have died from an abortion that has been reported public, although most abortion deaths are never publicly reported and details don’t see the light of day.
A 19-year-old Canadian woman died along with her unborn baby after taking the abortion pill last year. The tragic news comes as abortion activists push to expand the abortion drug mifepristone across the U.S. and Canada, claiming it’s “safer than Tylenol.” In actuality, the drug has been linked to the deaths of millions of unborn babies and dozens of mothers.
As LifeNews reported, news has surfaced that Alyona Dixon, 24, died on September 28, 2022 after complications from the abortion forced her to seek emergency medical treatment four days after the abortion at Planned Parenthood. Her family is now suing the Las Vegas hospital that treated her, saying it did not provide adequate medical care for the abortion complications.
If abortion were illegal then Kelly could claim that "No I'm not fat, I'm just pregnant".
But now that she's gone all in for abortion she'll have to revert to that lame excuse that "I just have big bones".
She is a moron, on top of being a terrible singer.
Thank god Man invented Abortion. I don’t know how our species survived the past 7 million years.
“I literally asked God, this is a real thing, to just take me and my son in the hospital for the second time, because I was like, ‘It’s the worst thing,’” the singer said, before pausing to apologize as she apparently became emotional.”
More and more I read things that my mind can make no sense of.
Just another idiot/liar mouthing off. Did anyone expect anything different from this moron?
I guess Kelly was getting too popular after her rapid weight loss so she had to wade into the culture war with an obnoxiously liberal comment on abortion to alienate part of her audience.
If only people like this could get a glimpse of where they will eventually end up on the other side of eternity..........
And I liked Kelly Clarkson until about five minutes ago. Then I found out that she’s stupid, I don’t care for stupid women !
Why didn’t she abort her kids?
She’s a no talent nobody in my book. I can’t believe any women are dumb enough to watch her stupid show or think she’s a good singer.
Why didn't Kelly's mother abort Kelly?
What is, or ever was to like about Kelly Clarkson? I’m serious, I’m really curious as to what anyone ever seen in her.
