Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of a Hamas co-founder, tweeted against the US policy regarding the hostage negotiations.
''After months of pressuring Israel to negotiate a hostage deal with terrorists, the Biden administration came to realize that negotiating with terrorists is a dead end. Postponing an inevitable war to please voters won’t lead to stability and peace," he said.
''Iran, Russia, China, and their proxies are determined to destroy the current world order. Islamic and communist ideologies have been proven wrong throughout the centuries so we shouldn’t allow a new generation of fanatics to repeat the same mistakes of the past. Islamic and communist models are doomed to failure. Capitalism is the better option,'' he declared.
''Sticking your head in the sand will not remove the threat. Trading your most fundamental principles for short-term political interest will lead to more chaos. America shouldn’t wait for things to go completely out of control before taking action. And the Biden administration must choose between winning the election or winning the war.''

Of course. The election is the most important thing for Democrats.
After all Donald Trump “does pose a nexnelsrent…it’s not hypothetical” to quote Biden.
Donald Trump “does pose a nexnelsrent…it’s not hypothetical”
Good.
“Iran, Russia, China, and their proxies are determined to destroy the current world order. Islamic and communist ideologies”
The son of Hamas gets it.
Where does that leave the folks not getting it?
America can be summed up in one word.
Asufutimaehaehfutbw.
Current US foreign policy (and not just where Israel is concerned): Burn the world to the ground and rule the ashes.
Ha.
Biden has a way with words.
Or maybe Biden has done away with words.
He did save a lot of lives in Israel when he told Israel not to bomb Haifa.
“He did save a lot of lives in Israel when he told Israel not to bomb Haifa.”
Talked Bibi out of it, he did. Got a crappy falafel on Hertzel Street, and was going for payback, when Joe called him up and told him to cool off. Said he’s sorry he called him Esther Wilmingtonknickerbocker.
I fear you’re right.
Ha. Biden’s always the hero.
I think you'll find that if any "hostages" exist, they're down the memory hole now.
Israel might still remember them, even still seek them, but anyone else will give you a blank look if you mention them.
Mostly in the White House.
Everywhere I look on FR and in congress I see conservatives fighting each other. I am afraid there is deception on both sides. On one side, I see Mike Johnson making statements that make it easy for his GOP rivals to smear him. On the other side, those rivals are smearing him. Why can’t we elect Trump as speaker? Who else can unite us? And is it too late?
It's too late now. Democrat thugs are keeping Trump off the campaign trail too much as is. Democrats are useing the law as a sledgehammer against their political opponents. That's horrible. And God only knows what totalitarian nightmare they'll come up with next. Trump needs his time to talk with 'the people'... and to get out the vote.
Never thought I'd see the day the law in the US would be used as a weapon like democrats are doing now. It's so third world.
Anyhow, what little time Trump will have to campaign can't be spent in the House babysitting Republicans. When Trump's President he'll be able to unite the party and add some structure to Congress. But again, like you - I love the idea of him being a temporary Speaker .... it would have been fun - and so productive.
If Trump ran for Speaker, even without the lawfare, it would not be any means easy. If he did run, I would expect them to floor the lawfare accelerator.
