Suddenly on this thread you are eliminating Red China and Russia as any threat to America and the West/World yet you often say that them conquering us is what you desire.

The Regimes of the West are like end-state decadent Rome.
At one point, Rome had its legions trying to invade Persia, while German barbarians were pouring across the Northern border of Italy.
That is just like the border control and foreign military posture of the entire West.
There is nothing new under the sun.
Not to interrupt a good argument between you two, but I've actually given some thought as to what would happen if we lost a nuclear war.
First off, we would be occupied and the country partitioned among the victors. Along with the UN, the victors would make sure that the US would never again be a threat to world peace as they perceive it.
Russia would gain Alaska and most of polar Canada, assuming Canada decided to join the war.
North Korea would gain Washington and Oregon west of the Cascades.
China would get Vancouver, Hawaii and our Pacific possessions. It would also split California with Mexico, assuming Mexico entered the war on the winning side. China would immediately kill all males so that their own males could find wives or comfort women, all the result of their ill-conceived "single child" policy that went on for too long.
Much of the land taken by the victors would require a long period for the radiation to subside so as to become inhabitable. We would be looking at somewhere between 70% and 90% of the population killed off.
What's left of America would probably split up in a civil war before the rural areas and small towns could rebuild the country as it was 200+ years ago.
Not a pretty picture. I don't recommend nuclear war.
