I have been to Europe before and found the average European to be serfs in service of their masters.

A lot changed from 1950 when we first sent advisors, to 1973 when we left Vietnam.

Look at the money, defense budgets.

These days the US spends 3.5% of GDP on defense, the vast majority on personnel costs. In the 50’s defense was @9% of gdp on average and personnel (being conscripts) were much cheaper.

These days there are much bigger fish to fry, from politicians POV. Like medical care, finance, education and welfare.

“Is it your position that no one is actually just supporting Ukraine defend itself from Russian aggression?”

That is the narrative and justification the propaganda machine like yourself uses. But that is not truly “why” we are there. We are there to make Global New World Order Corporations like BlackRock, Vanguard, and Statestreet rich and give them Global power and control through wealth. And they own the Military industrial complex lock stock and barrel.

Who do you think actually owns and dictates orders to our own government through the back door? Been this way for 50 years...

Europe is a continent in a constant state of war. Better for us to stay out of it.
Thomas Jefferson.
Right then, and right now.

“These days the US spends 3.5% of GDP on defense,”

That was my point. There are a lot of defense contractors who are 3rd party shell companies collecting in “other categories” yet the money is still going towards defense. It is just not listed as defense spending.

Thats funny. In what sense?
From my POV they are way less afflicted by petty regulation and legal risk analyses. Playgrounds are open with jungle gyms, there is way less in the sense of overhead in building or renovating homes (Spanish homeownership is 76%, US 66%), etc and etc. It really does feel like a free country here, vs California.

So no one, NO ONE, just wants to support Ukraine defend itself from Russian aggression?

If you are saying that defense spending is hidden in other parts of the budget thats quite an assertion. I have heard nothing of the sort. It would be a huge scandal if true.

Putin is defending Russian Christians in “Ukraine,” a fake country.

You have just revealed yourself as nothing but a Russian chauvinist justifying Russia's attempted conquest of Ukraine. You and the Russians need to accept the reality that Ukrainians are not Russians and will no longer accept Russian rule.

Zelensky is a globalist who wants to incorporate “Ukraine” into the godless EU beast.

I am no fan of the EU, but this is something for the Ukrainians to decide, not the Russians.

Putin is the only world leader fighting for Christianity.

Such a risible statement. Putin not fighting for Christianity. He is only fighting for his dream of a reestablished Russian empire and for his own political survival.

Europe WAS often afflicted by wars. The Pax Americana put an end to it, with respect to the regions where its power ran. It has been a very long peace.

The US has been at peace (generally, lets leave out the US Civil War) because that part of the continent has been one huge country that can be truly at war only with itself.

Actually if it was only that I would. Go get it over and get out. But we are not there for that end. In fact, they plan to prolong and never let it end so they can stick our Grandkids with as much debt as they can for current profits.

Polls are for idiots. Exit polls are for morons.

And foreigners. Most of these zeepers are foreigners who secretly want Biden to steal another term.

I wasn’t talking about America, I was talking about Europe. The last 9 years in America have been a communist hell.

Tried to share proof here and other forums years ago but no one would listen. I have spent hundreds of hours over the years researching just those five levels deep elusive indirect connections.

I finally gave up trying to get attention to it and since lost the work I did. But it is absolutely there for anyone who has time to dig for corporate connections several levels deep. Maybe now they would listen, but I doubt it.

It is notable that Trump did not take a position. I think it’s because he rightfully recognizes that most Americans don’t feel strongly about this at all.

The answer, then, is to give the Ukrainians enough aid to end this now. It does not have to be enough to overwhelm the Russians. Just enough to show the Russians that they could never win.

But your suspicion is unfounded. The aid package headed to Ukraine is only $61 billion. That might seem like a lot, but in a budget of $86 TRILLION, it is less than 1% of the budget. It terms of the total spending, this is pocket change.
