For SCOTUS to intervene there would have to a case filed to get there.

No. There’s no suit in front of them on this particular case. However, the immunity case is in front of them and if they grant immunity, the trial is over or at least postponed for a long while.
For off there is a dirty little secret about the current corrupt US justice system. Trump does not have standing to sue unless they actually put him in jail.
That’s what I’ve been asking. This is how corruption is handled when it comes to justice? It’s ignored? I assume it’s because of Merrick Garland. Above all else the Republican party can absolutely go to hell because they are not lifting one tiny finger to help Trump out.
