Not included in the OAN article is the fact that her son is significantly disabled and an adult.

Most likely he is very dependent on her and follows her lead. She was unable to go downstairs to tell him how to help.

As others said, you have to read all the comments at the article, in order to figure out what the author left out because of poor reporting and writing. Seems to be an epidemic of bad reporting, writing and editing. Disabled son.

So let me get this straight. Her son was down stairs and never heard a shot fired. Then waited 10 hours to check on his mother. Then once he found that she had been wounded in a fire fight ,he handed her the phone so SHE could call 911.
Excuse me but she should have shot him also.
