The Country Clubber/RINO Republican leadership arguably ignored this issue for 3+ decades. They are only being brought to the table on this kicking and screaming by force by the grassroots MAGA/Patriot/TEA Party types. I am watching it happen here in GA.
A post I made a couple years ago gets to the root of the problem:
Little known fact: There were about 3-1/2 decades during which the Republican Party couldn’t contest election fraud due to a consent decree. Amazing, but it is true. This only ended in 2018.
During that time I believe the Dems brought voter fraud to a high level of effectiveness, and contesting dirty elections atrophied among Republicans.
It will take a long time to fix the problems this created.
