There is a video on X where in literally maybe 1/2 minute a barrage of Iranian rockets were shot down by some air defense system.
they said at an estimated cost of the defense missiles was 1 BILLION dollars. In 30 seconds….
It will be impossible for this to keep going at that rate. Not sure the cost of the Iranian missiles.

Nazi Germany emphasized (expensive) quality over quantity.
The Soviet Union emphasized quantity over quality.
It’s not a perfect analogy with today’s situation, I know. But it’s worth noting that the Soviets won their war. So perhaps there’s a lesson to be learned.
Iron Dome Tamir missiles cost under $100,000 each. Arrow missiles cost a lot more but far fewer were used. I don’t know about $1 Billion in 30 seconds.
