My daughter recently flew to Sydney and had a wonderful cruise around Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand. She said it looked so clean and safe, no people living on sidewalks, low crime, nice people. A world traveler, she thought Melbourne was the most beautiful city she’d ever seen.
So where in the world did this creep come from?
And btw, her husband, who recently died, was the sheriff and she’s the best shot at the shooting range they have.
There are plenty of lovely places in Australia. But we have our share of bad places as well. Like anywhere.
Most tourists won’t go to most of those, of course.
We are a pretty safe country in a lot of ways. But nowhere is immune to violence.
