I’m just guessing, but Kharg Island is probably off the list for the first round. Hitting it will insure a world-wide economic catastrophe. The second and third round, who knows.
And there will be a second, or third, or even more rounds.
Just as in Ukraine, all parties refuse to de-escalate because they cannot afford to lose face.
