I'm afraid we might be on the verge of WWIII. I know a lot of people want to blame Biden, but I think it's the Deep State that is leading us in a very bad direction and whatever Biden says is just his earlier self spouting out what nuggets are still left in his brain. I wouldn't doubt if Biden's handlers have told him that Israel has all the world's ice cream and we need to support Israel in order to guarantee a continuous supply.
I'm one of those evil putin-worshippers who believes that John Mearsheimer is right about the Russia-Ukraine conflict and that NATO would have been better off not pushing further East and keeping Ukraine a neutral buffer. I think we would be closer now to creating a stronger economic union between Western Europe, America, Russia and its allies if we hadn't antagonized Russia with NATO expansion. We would have Russia as an ally against China, rather than Russia and China cozying up against us.
With regard to Israel, I wish we had leaned on Netanyahu to continue with their successful tit-for-tat policy. Hamas killed 1400 Israelis. I think if Israel had killed something less than 5000 Gazans, with most of them Hamas, then that would have been the end of the current struggle. Israel was never going to be able to wipe out Hamas because they stated themselves that much of the leadership is outside of Gaza. Also, there are millions of Palestinians living outside Israel/Palestine that have now been radicalized and can be recruited to replace whatever Hamas terrorists have been killed.
Of course, suggesting that Netanyahu should have done something other than what he did means that besides being a putin bootlicker I am also a rabid anti-Semite so you should ignore everything in this post.
