A video first reported by The Associated Press showed commandos raiding a ship near the Strait of Hormuz by helicopter Saturday, an attack a Mideast defense official attributed to Iran amid wider tensions between Tehran and the West.
The vessel involved is likely the Portuguese-flagged MSC Aries, a container ship associated with London-based Zodiac Maritime. Zodiac Maritime is part of Israeli billionaire Eyal Ofer’s Zodiac Group.

It’s not landing - it is hovering while men are rappelling down a line to the deck. That’s a Russian-made Mi-8 (or Mi-17: can’t tell the difference in this grainy video) and no national insignia are visible.

I ran has the dirtiest hands imaginable - outside the Biden Admin, anyhow - Iran, being a full-blown terrorist country, is afraid to directly attack Israel - for good reason - but will continue attacking “connected entities” and sending their minions to take the actual risks.
Islamic terrorists don’t obey international laws any more than the Islamic militant group Ansar al-Sharia which attacked our embassy in Libya - they’re thought to have connections to Al Queda- and Al Queda has had direct connections to Iran over the decades.
