An amendment was offered to add a warrant requirement to see data from Americans, but it narrowly failed in a 212 to 212 vote.

Is there a vote recorded on that amendment- a simple requireement regarding American citizens either in or out of the country. So that a foreign partner (possibly compromised themselves, btw) cannot surveill a US Citizen at the behest of US intel just making a call— WITHOUT a warrant FROM the US Agencies— as a matter of record of responsibility for the assignment to the foreign intel. Does the UK have the US permission to spy on Americans within the US- whether or not with US approval, and NO warrant- for example. Or Aussies or any of the 5 eyes— because this Amendment would have required it of ANY “ask” of a foreign intel to do this— in the US or anywhere else. And, uh not just 5 eye “supposed” partners— who definitely cannot be trusted. So tiring.

Something wrong with that? Since apparently foreign spy orgs spied not only on Trump but MANY other US citizens while INSIDE the USA. For Trump see the Trump Tower “alpha bank” bullcrap tracking that had nothing to do with anything they were claiming. Easy pile on. Don’t give a crap about some foreigner we spy on in their country THAT is what seeing eye ehhhhs are supposed to do. We are really talking about NSA No such agency—worldwide sat listening— definitely mass collected such that they cannot sort out who is what or who is who. Brilliant stupid algorithms which do not protect the US.
Proven. See: Binney.
