They should carefully consider those of us who think we still owe them one for Yoko Ono.

Please. If we nuke anyone over her, it should be the U.K., they are responsible. She was living in London when one their idiots brought her over and turned her loose on us. That isn't Japan's fault.

The first time she lived in the U.S. she didn't sing. Maybe that's why some people think the CIA killed Lennon.

FDR could have "demanded" all he wanted - Stalin wouldn't have budged.

Fine, then we didn't need to become the supplier to their military. Do you really think they could have beaten the Germans, without the total aid of the allies? Never. As it was, the Germans had no resources, and the allies were acting as Russia's butler. So, Stalin didn't have to budge, but the allies didn't have to bail out his mistake.=

Churchill forced FDR into giving Russia everything, with getting nothing in return. Everyone deserves consideration. There are no free lunches - except for Churchill and FDR.

Russia was a member of the Axis for the first two years of the war. Their treaty allowed the Western War and the Blitz to happen. Why reward them for it.

People should be honest - no single person in the 20th century did more to help communism than Churchill did.

But you said the Russians had them beaten, not the US.

Update. Wonder what the group's thought are on this...

I witnessed unimaginable horrors in Japan's WW2 human experiment unit... I had to speak out for the sake of my children: Vet, 93, describes jars full of human bodies at notorious Unit 731 where POWs were dissected ALIVE and infected with plague WARNING: CONTAINS GRAPHIC CONTENT

I also wonder why the DM has gone with this story now.

And should anyone read a certain comment at the DM's story and wonder what the US did and why, another link...

Yes. Massive incendiary bomb raids - and they still didn’t give it up. The nukes were a very hard lesson to learn (and it still took TWO of them to make them quit). They were necessary and we should make no apologies nor feel any guilt over their use.

Massive damage wasn’t the point of the raid.

But the Russians can keep their genocidal mouths open?
