I stayed many times at that hotel years ago. It was one of my favorites. It was beautiful around Christmas. The entire place was covered with snow and just beautiful. What a shame.
Decades ago large corporations moved their executives out of NYC to Greenwich, CT. They might leave brass plaques and what they called their headquarters in NYC but the executives were in Connecticut. Now the northeast has become untenable and the big money has moved out of Connecticut to Florida, Texas and other safer places.
