A few days ago, we (The Deplorable Family) were out and about at a home show. They had a Planet Fitness booth there, so we ignore them, but they asked us if we had gym membership, Mrs Deplorable told them that she did, but not now. They told us that it is a franchise and theirs don’t allow Trans in women’s locker room, but I said, “Sorry, but I don’t believe you. You need to tell corporate to change the policy.” We walked away.
The downside to what used to be called the suits in a corporate boardroom dictating an unpopular policy is that franchisees suffer, especially in conservative areas. They are bread and butter business owners who often sink their savings or owe financing debt at a bank to finance ownership. The Left tends to dominate large corporations, upscale urban neighborhoods and high end suburbs. They live in a MSM/ NPR bubble and regard poor and middle class whites about like Hillary Clinton and Obama did.
