You can always cherry-pick liberal cesspools to make that argument. As you know, it is always State Capitols and State University towns and a smattering of other urban areas that drive that.
But the data do not lie:

Statewide, almost TWO THIRDS of newcomers in ‘23 and ‘24 registered R.

FYI, I lived in Boise, Post Falls, and McCall, plus was stationed in Idaho Falls. All told, over 11 of my first 21 years.
