Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) said Sunday that Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) will be blamed if the U.S. fails to provide aid to Ukraine and it loses its war against Russia.
“Now, he has to think about his conscience, because I got to tell you, if Ukraine loses this fight, he will be the guy in the history books that are written about why Ukraine lost this fight,” Kinzinger said in an interview on CNN. “They won’t necessarily say that he’s the one that pulled the aid, but he’s the one that could have done something which changed it.”
“We need to recognize the fact that Ukraine — it’s not us helping Ukraine. Ukraine is helping us, by fighting to defend themselves against one of our chief competitors and frankly, enemies in this world,” Kinzinger added as he highlighted the importance of passing aid to Ukraine.

a repulsive or despicable person:
“the slimeball had turned on his friends”
So Kinzinger plans to be an author.
He can read those books to fellow GloboHomoNazi Inmates when President Trump reforms the Alphabet Bureaucracies and the Justice System.
How much is Kinzinger making from pushing this crap? Plenty of others are.
Why does the headline say “if”?
Ukraine will lose, Throwing more money at it will only run up the final tab, kill more people, and delay the inevitable.
After the fall of Ukraine, the Baltics, Poland, Moldova are next. Anywhere there are Russian speakers or were part of the USSR, will be on Putin’s to do list.
“He will be celebrated for saving lives, not killing them to serve an agenda.”

So according to you, we should never have resisted Hitler and stopped him from taking over Europe (and maybe later the USA)? Better to abandon our allies let them be slaughtered one-way, both our hands tied behind our backs, while we just watch it all unfold.
Letting National-Socialism take over everything, not risking our lives in any military conflict.
What’s next?
Do you also want to defund the police, eliminate it totally?
Because if there’s no police anymore, no policeman can be killed, thus savinving policemen’s lives! According to your logic...
So if we see a woman being raped...nah... that’s not our problem, too risky to save her from that well-armed gang, someone could get killed. Let them rape her, she will not die from it - lets save lives!
Jesus Christ... this reasoning of yours is on the verge of being demonic.
Maybe we should abolish America’s Army all together.
That way we are saving potential American soldiers lives, because they will never have to fight on the frontlines !
This is crazy-talk!
Remember this:
“The only thing needed for Evil to succeed, is for good men to do nothing.”
He spelled ‘honored’ wrong.
Kinzinger needs to go in the corner and have a good cry. He’ll feel much better.
Yet i do read that in spending money it does not have, ,
The bipartisan bill adheres to the spending caps imposed by last year’s debt ceiling deal. It funds the procurement of eight battle ships and dozens of new aircraft, provides a small amount of Ukraine military aid and offers multiyear procurement for six critical munitions. The bill includes $33.5 billion to build eight ships and allocates funds for 86 F-35 and 24 F-15 EX fighter jets as well as 15 KC-46A tankers. There’s also a combined $2.1 billion for the Army’s Long-Range Hypersonic Weapon and the Navy’s Conventional Prompt Strike hypersonic weapons system.
The bill retains $300 million for the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, which allows the Pentagon to place contracts for equipment to send Kyiv. House Republican leaders had initially removed the $300 million in Ukraine aid amid opposition from the right flank of their caucus when they narrowly passed their version of the defense spending bill 218-210 in September.
But even with the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative funds back in the bill, the $300 million is far less than the $60 billion in security and economic support for Kyiv provided in the Senate’s foreign aid bill...
War games hosted by the House China Committee in April found the U.S. would rapidly run out of munitions — including the SM-6, Naval Strike Missile and Long-Range Anti-Ship Missile — in a war with Beijing in the Pacific.
Additionally, the bill provides an $800 million boost to the Pentagon’s Defense Innovation Unit, for a total budget of $983 million in FY24. It also provides $200 million for Replicator, the Pentagon’s effort to buy and field thousands of drones by next August.
Finally, the legislation cuts funding for the Defense Department civilian workforce by $1 billion.- https://www.defensenews.com/congress/2024/03/21/defense-spending-bill-has-some-ukraine-aid-multiyear-munitions-buys/
Dude, Russia is losing. They can’t even take Ukraine. Both Ukraine and Russia has suffered staggering losses. This is a slug fest with two nations that can’t win.
No Kinzinger, Boris Johnson will be blamed. Over 120 billion dollars and Ukraine is toast. Throwing money at it only prolongs the pain.
Wondered the same myself. I am tired of both but Ukraine is sucking US taxpayers dry.
