A fairly accurate synopsis of todays prog.

IIRC, Saddam Hussien did the same thing. Every month the people were given one month's allotment of food. That was ALL they were allowed to have and heaven help the person who was caught with more.
By forcing the stores to comply to government edicts, they essentially become an arm of government control without direct government ownership. That allows the government to blame the stores if something goes wrong. They can distance themselves from it all the while maintaining a tight grip of control on the people and yet denying it to the people themselves.
Very diabolical.
I have no doubt it is.
The problem is not the stores.
What about requiring the neighborhood residents meeting and working in good faith with the grocery store and stopping the shoplifting crime and retail thefts?
Every grocery store is suddenly considering closing now before this bill passes.
Because that would be ray-cist!

They will have government run grocery stores which the tax payers in those areas will pay for!! When the government decides we should eat bugs THAT is what will be in the grocery stores the stores will be filthy no health standards enforced BECAUSE they will be inspecting themselves!! I live in Ca. in a very conservative area ANYTHING east of the coast is conservative THIS BS has to stop!! With ALL MAIL IN BALLOTS NOW Ca. will be ONE PARTY rule till hell freezes over just as OR. WA. CO. until the fraud in elections is fixed and ALL mail in balloting is STOPPED I see things only getting worse for the future!! I see ALL federal police forces, ALL government run stores, the ELITE becoming the US oligarchs and the US being the USSR in the very near future!! SOMETHING must be done about our elections, at this point I don’t know HOW we fix this!! The ONLY REASON for arresting and charging people for election denial is BECAUSE the election WAS FRAUDULENT otherwise they would NOT give a damn about people questioning the validity of it!! ANYONE with a lick of common sense would SEE THIS!!
You can’t force grocery stores to stay open. These people are lunatics.
Would you force employees to keep working in those stores in dangerous neighborhoods?
If you pass laws like this, you will never see another grocery store open in the community.

Sounds like the company store script practice that existed in this country and others in the past, usually in remote areas where lumber and coal mines were. You'll be paid with script only. You'll pay your rent/mortgage with script. Food products, supplies, and other services will only be available from a government-run store/entity that only accepts script, and the prices will be higher, because there won't be any competition. Back to the 1800's for America.
