You would think the high paid lawyers for Trump and the bond company would have made sure there were no errors in the paperwork when filing it at the court. As many have mentioned, the prosecutor is looking for any excuse to get Trump. Having succeeded in getting the bond reduced, how could the attorneys not make sure the bond itself when filed wasn’t 100% accurate and in compliance?

If you know there is a rabid dog on your front porch, most people don’t make the mistake of opening the door to let it in. If the paperwork is wrong, it isn’t James’s fault, it isn’t the courts fault. It is the fault of the person filing the paperwork.

I doubt there is a single lawyer in the whole country who has filed a $175 million bond, anywhere, let alone in NY where every comma in the document is going to be picked apart.
New ground for everyone.
