You really miss the crux of the issue because you and several of a similar mindset, would rather label us DeSantis haters.

Again, speaking for myself as I live in FL. I don’t hate my gov. Ron has been a great gov especially during Ian. My problems with him are who he aligned himself with to fund his campaign. All Bush wing RINO members. Big issue with that. I am an America First voter. I won’t vote for him if Trump endorses because of WHO he gets his funding to run. That is an overriding issue he has getting support from people like me.

So please get it right. Stop piegon holing. Ron DeSantiss like Trump has positive and negatives. In my mind Rons negatives are significant to the point that I question who owns his votes.

I think he should stay in Florida and bring about change there.

DeSantis’ entire campaign strategy rested on the hope that the Democrats would be successful in convicting President Trump for ‘insurrection’ or some other bogus charge - and thus clear a path for DeSantis to win in 2024.

That's a fact-free claim. It exists only in your mind.

Instead of resisting or exposing the Democrat plot against President Trump and MAGA, DeSantis and the other cowardly Republican candidates welcomed it, because they too wanted Trump out of the way for their own political advantages.

How did DeSantis welcome it? I know of nothing that supports that.

he was depending on the Democrat lawfare to eliminate Trump.

Again a fact-free assertion.

There was no insurrection, period. The claim that Trump or someone committed an insurrection doesn't depend on whether the election was stolen. One has nothing to do with the other.

“…whether the election was stolen.”

Do you believe the 2020 election was stolen or not?

Because if you don’t believe it was stolen, then of course you won’t understand how DeSantis betrayed President Trump and MAGA.

When you say DeSantis betrayed Trump I think you mean he ran against him.

Your claim that DeSantis was banking on Trump getting convicted is fact-free and will continue to be.

Whether I think the election was stolen logically has nothing to do with your claim.

Anyway enough of this. It’s a waste of time.

You still can’t just come out and admit the election was stolen.

That’s ok, neither can your buddy DeSantis. Or Christie. Or Pence. Or Haley. Or Romney, etc.. Because if they admit it was stolen, then they have to explain why they stood by and did nothing and said nothing.

And the answer to that is obvious: They wanted Trump gone just as bad as the Democrats.

You’re all a bunch of backstabbing cowards.

I do believe 2020 was stolen.

I also don’t believe that Trump, who signed the CARES Act and tried to primary Thomas Massie who warned about how the CARES Act’s funding for mail-in ballots is going to be a risk, is in any position to fix things—even if he wins, which that’s saying something

Yes Trump got screwed by the election and by the deep state during his term, but that’s also my point. I don’t hate Trump. I just don’t think he’s going to get things done. He’ll say all the right things about the deep state, but is he going to execute? On judges and foreign policy, yeah. On everything else? A lot was left on the table.

Trump’s first term proves you a liar.

It used to be a hero was anyone that hit over 40%

Trump hit a lot of them over the fence, just not all. You have not thinking skills.

“You have not thinking skills.”

I have “not” thinking skills? Really.?

Which of Trump's policies did you not agree with? It is you who suffer from a severe case of idiocy.

Fair enough. I don’t think he’s the solution to every problem.

But if they can get away with rigging elections, rigging the courts, and rigging the media - that means the American people are asleep - hardly anyone know the truth about anything - Americans are being deceived on a scale that is beyond Orwellian.

How can the Republic survive if the people are fast asleep in some hypnotized state? We can’t. Someone needs to wake us up - that’s what I look to President Trump for. Whether or not you like his vaccine policy, his China policy , his energy policy or his border policy, you must admit he fights back against the lies.

If you know of someone else who fights back the way he does, I’d really like to meet him.

The CARES ACT didn’t change state laws on mail-in voting. It’s hard to say exactly how or if the election outcome would have been any different, had the CARES Act funding you’re referring to, passed.

If I said I think it was stolen it would mean absolutely nothing about DeSantis. Nor would it mean anything about DeSantis if I said it wasn’t.

In fact I posted on multiple threads here about the strange election results in the days after the 2020 election. You could look them up if you’re curious.

You and many others are very logic challenged.

This wasn’t the main point, but nevertheless, a critical point that the poster, myself and many many others make, is completely ignored. And that point is the GOP is filled with Rino elites who once get to DC lock arms with and become Uni Party. These are the backstabbing cowards the poster focused on. - they are the issue that a significant number of the rank and file GOP membership are content to turn a blind eye to while they destroy the country.

Myself, I find more fault with those who are content to keep voting these corrupt jackasses into office all the while bitching about Donald Trump. Its easy to lay waste to a scapegoat. Its easy to insult a fellow poster who calls out these Uni Party Rinos and shines a spotlight on them. The alternative, the solution that would actually effect positive change is difficult. It takes time, effort, and resources to pinpoint, address and eradicate the problem. And the GOP is in dire need of change.

Stop tap dancing.
Just admit it was stolen and then explain why DeSantis turned a blind eye.

Lying, about? Trump’s FBI director is still the one running the show with all the abuses we’ve seen there. It’s always an excuse of “well he was advised wrong.” Look, everyone makes a few bad hires. Happens to the best. Trump has a very long repeated pattern of bad hires.
