We will be on that list some day. This is what corrupt government gets you. Poverty and misery for all except for the few at the top of the manure pile.
I have read that UNWRA was given over $ 1.1 billion in 2022 for "humanitarian aid". How much good this could have done if sent to the deserving impoverished in other parts of the world rather than being misapplied for military purposes in Gaza.
Has there been a time in the past 50 years where some part of Africa isn’t starving?

Maybe nobody gives a crap about starvation in Nigeria because they literally ripped off thousands of little old ladies and men of their life savings.
