In 1978, Nixon gave a speech/ Q&A at the Oxford Union in England. It was a 5 minute speech and over an hour of Q&A with the students.

At one point he said something to the effect that the USA would someday probably have an alumnus from Oxford as president.

Clinton ran for governor in 1978 and was elected. I'm not sure what time of year Nixon's speech was, but he either had inside information - or could just recognize that Clinton had the political situation and power well in hand and Nixon figured he would just keep climbing. I would like to believe the later, but....
