What do you think all the Media outlets here do, propagate disinformation, lies, etc., would you like to shut down CNN and MSNBC for instance? Do you want the government to embrace Tyranny and have total control of speech?
I remind you Lincoln did this during the Civil War when he pretty much suspended the Bill of Rights and jailed people who opposed him and his war.

America has lost it’s way on freedom of speech and there is a widespread attempt to control information, and codify a false narrative. That makes one sensitive to censorship. There is however a balance.
When an outfit is clearly acting for the enemy your Country is at war with and spreading propaganda to fragment the Country that outfit should not be hosted. Al Jazeera is Qatar based. They are not being silenced by Israel just dehosted in Israel. Al Jazeera enables Hamas and passes information to that organization. Would you clasp that serpent to your bosom?
The redcoats were defeated partially because they were inflexible, stood in formation and could not adapt to new tactics in warfare. Zealous insistence of total freedom of speech is a similar self wound. There are shades of grey in real life not just black & white.
