Rowling is a native English, though she's lived in Scotland for many years.
Good for JK Rowling for standing her ground.
It’s going to take some high profile cases to stop this insanity.
What she does not like is being knocked off the top of the victim totem pole. Feminists by and large started identity politics, and it is gratifying to see them get a big dose of their own medicine.
“ I love it when the Left eat their own.”
Some people end up seeing truth.
“True, but if we believe in freedom of thought and freedom of expression we must stand up for our rights!”
After 2020 Lockdowns and censorship, how could anyone unironically believe this ?
I didn’t say it would be easy!
And, also redemption.
There is an interesting dynamic at work, here.
As people age, observe and learn, and form and re-formulate opinions, life challenges most folks to become more conservative (teachers, union fungi, and lawyers excepted of course.) One suspects that as a writer, Ms. Rowling has made comprehensive observations and adjusted her life views accordingly.
JK Rowling has always been a liberal, but apparently not liberal enough for the ultra-liberals now in control.
She’s in the company of Professor Jordan Peterson. Good company indeed.
You go girl! If they do arrest her, I look forward to the massive protests and backlash. It’s inspiring to see someone stick to her convictions when many a politician would have caved and apologized by now.
IF YOU’RE on x go to her profile and correct some of the stories she’s highlighting by putting in the TRUTHFUL pronouns.
Update...
Still not arrested.
And if more people people refused to submit, we’d have a lot less of this ****.
On BOTH sides of the pond.
Update...
The UK’s Deep State has blinked.
For now...
