GOTV is the difference in close elections. Like 2012. The Obama campaign’s GOTV was far superior to Romney’s. Although the Romney operation seems to have been incompetent too. But a more competent operation still couldn’t have matched Obama’s sophistication.
It’s easier when you have mobilized and weaponized much of the government of the United States to help you fund and win the election turn out contest.
