Traditional colleges and universities were already under attack from online degree programs and community/tech schools, so they committed suicide with DEI.

The only thing saving major universities now is the football and basketball programs and alumni hung up on bragging rights.

The student loan racket is the only thing saving them - and that is why they keep dribbling out bits and pieces of Biden’s forgiveness. I haven’t followed closely, but I believe that helps people who have been paying towards their loans for decades - but that is buried so young fools will still borrow.

Many young people (of both genders) realize they won’t get a job that allows them to repay the loans; one gender assumes the other will help them pay theirs...
