I don’t feel defeated in the slightest. I don’t want another dime of my bankrupt country’s resources spent on that corrupt regime.
In this circumstance, it’s being realistic.
This was the predicted outcome from the start of that slavic territory war.
Ukraine, living next to russia, not arming or training itself, is now grifting from American Taxpayers to attempt to regain the lost territory thus far.
At some point something will give, and considering everything so far, I highly doubt it will be russia.
Ukraine will collapse the second The Debt money faucet from USA stops.
Instead of spending their cash on corruption, being a laundromat for US Politicians, and on anything but Military hardware and personnel, maybe they should formed some defensive pacts with neighbors, fortified the border with the big bad russians, and armed themselves to the teeth.
obviously Ukraine wasn’t worried about Russia, even when they got attacked 10 years ago.
I’d Argue that the state of affairs Ukraine was in was so bad that Poland could have made similar gains the russians have, in similar circumstances.
