“FAB” has no relatinoship to “fab” as used by western homosexuals.”

Sure it does. Putin’s Western fanbois LOVE homoerotic images of that sweaty, bare-chested hero of theirs but it’s also clear that they like the terribly gay images of Zelensky even more! They post far more images of Zelensky that they do Putin so it’s clear they prefer the fey and effeminate types over the angst-ridden, quasi-masculine types like Putin.

So no doubt this FABulous bomb of Ruzzia’s is feeding right into the gay frenzy of Putin’s fan base.

I’m just left to wonder if these FABulous bombs will come in the palette of the 2024 Spring fashion collection that covers the range of pristine white, sapphire blue, verdant green, luscious pink, deep purple, and bright yellow in both pastel and jewel tones. There are also options such as understated and minimalist colors with gold accessories.

Like maybe the FABulous bombs could be painted in a sever Soviet-red but accented with delicate touches of gold perhaps on the fins and fusing assemblies?

Really, darling, if you’re going to go to war in Europe you absolutely MUST do it with STYLE!

“the Ruzxians don’t have any modern aircraft”

This much of your post is undeniably accurate and truthful.

I think the most destructive aerial bomb is a 20 megaton thermonuclear device. All others are cherry bombs in comparison.

It takes two to argue. I am only providing information which can be accepted or not. I don’t argue with idiots, life’s too short.

The quote is 1400 kg of TNT. That’s 2.2 pounds per kilogram so 3000 pounds.

1.5 kilotons. About 1/15th of the smaller nukes.

The Russians are desperate.

Even the massive help from North Korea, three million shells (!), did absolutely nothing to deter the anti-communist Ukrainians. The Russians took over a few inches of land in Ukraine. A joke.

Russia keeps poking the Ukrainian Wolf... soon the F16’s will be in Ukraine...

Commies of the Kremlin, keep poking the Ukrainian Wolf... it’s good for the West when you keep depleting yourselves! And for what gains? Nada.
You are going nowhere.. despite being 30 times bigger than Ukraine.

Russia shows to the word how totally incompetent it has become.

Russia launches the mass production of its FAB-3000, considered one of the most destructive aerial bombs in the world.

OH?

We have the B737.

All those performance specs imply penetration, and also an impact fuzing.

I don’t think I would waste it on surface burst, but save it for penetration.

But that makes me consider an airburst. It throws frags a long ways, but how many, and how fast?

Those darn Russians, making big bombs.

Being somewhat familiar with ordnance, ( PD, MTSQ, PROX, etc fuzes) you are correct as the 3,000 FAB is considered a “ mining” bomb, penetrating deep then exploding. As Ivan has developed a full line of thermobarics ( air bursting removing oxygen and huge over pressure) the FAB is not of duplicity.

The West has nothing of comparison to their thermobarics( they even have developed thermobaric grenades) in quantity. Put short- Ivan is way ahead in many areas, as we are witnessing.

US’ Daisey Cutter is 22,000 lbs.

Insee your daisy cutter and raise you a B61-13 with its 340 kilotons of awesomeness.

———
We are “piddling” because of explosive compound shortages, and other missile and bomb components shortages. The other reason is our manufacturing, basically defense contracts are filled then the Defense companies shut down the production lines, removing/ destroying/ storing / scraping fixtures, specialty equipment, tooling etc.

Vlads reverse sanctions on the West put the hurt on us as all were dependent on cheap commodities and aerospace metals from Russia.

Case in point, Rheinmetal’s cost to produce a 155mm shell has jumped from $800 to $6K. Ivan produces their 152mm for less than $500 because they have ALL the resources and commodities in country.

Lastly, transportation costs from the US to the EU are huge. The average 155mm shell weighs just over 100 lbs- you do the math. Vlad does not have these problems, transporting by rail less than 600 miles- not 6,000 miles.
