Reminds me of the “Walmart Bighorn Sheep”. Went to Walmart one time and saw a bunch of young Walmart city kid employees staring into a van. It caught my curiousity so I told my wife I had to go see what they were so interested in. I took one look and knew what the situation was. But I stuck around a few minutes to listen to the comments coming from the kids.
“It is a Bighorn sheep”
“Bighorns are a protected species”
“This is illegal”
“It is too cold out here for that animal”
“I called the cops and they should be here soon”
“This person should go to jail forever for this”
As I started to walk away chuckling the motorcycle officer pulled up and stopped me from walking to question me.
“Is that your Bighorn Sheep in that van?”
No... But I sure wish it was... Because this is going to be fun. lol
Turns out the owner of the van was just transporting a common livestock barnyard Goat for some reason and dropped into Walmart real quick on the way by. Nothing illegal at all and just a Goat NOT a Bighorn Sheep.
That is absolutely hilarious! The rural area I live in is a tourist destination for those looking for a country experience-at a guest ranch-many of them have never seen a garden variety goat, sheep, etc. One guest ranch owner said a lot of out-of-state city guests think the Barbados sheep she raises are Bighorns, and she hates to disappoint them...
