No doubt. But it’s really the only solution.
It’s the ONLY way to protect society.

Since when is its taxpayers responsible to personally setup a private law enforcement effort to address crimes not prevented by the legally appointed, publicly funded law enforcement? Can they get a refund on their taxes since service were not provided by the government?

If I was a shareholder I might think of suing for the waste of business funds for a non business expense.

Don’t these businesses pay taxes? Aren’t the bureaucrats and fellow travelers in government expected to provide various services including police, courts and prisons? If the incompetent, arrogant loser bureaucrats can’t provide the services, shouldn’t they be canned?

Re-education camps are just a few elections away.

PG&E is not HQ’d in Oakland. I worked for them and KPermante — the latter in Oakland.
Scary place, even over a decade ago. Now, it is no man’s land. Coppers still tell folks to avoid the nearby BART stop if you want to survive the walk to your car.

I flew out of Oakland about a month ago. I have flown into and out of lots of US airports, but this one was crazy. The security was the most intense I have ever been through.
