Came upon hundreds of fake tanks in Desert Storm. Crude, 55 gal drums with pipe gun tubes but very well placed. Dug in with sandbags out front to reduce dust when firing and sheet metal devices on poles designed to give radar signature.
Good enough that we were briefed the area was occupied and even had a unit designation.

I occasionally follow a guy on Facebook who is a Ukranian musician. He lives in Kiev and is still playing music and doing concerts. Sounds like much of life is pretty normal
