Residents of the village of Otniel in the southern Hebron Hills were surprised to discover near the village, in Area C which is fully controlled by Israel, a new factory that manufactures bomb shelters and employs Palestinian Arabs.
One of the residents told Arutz Sheva-Israel National News that the intensive construction in the area began at the beginning of the war with substantial earthworks using heavy machinery.
Residents of the village contacted the military and the Civil Administration claiming the work was an additional attempt to take over Area C.
Military officials claimed that the construction was okay and was cleared with the IDF District Coordination and Liaison. Later, the residents learned that the construction was meant to build a bomb shelter factory, which not only had begun operations but had even begun sending completed products to IDF bases.
"This week we say cranes and trucks coming to the area to load the finished shelters," the resident stated.
"We hopped over to the site and we began speaking with the people, some of whom were Israeli Arabs and some Jews. They said that these were shelters sent around to IDF bases across the country. The one in charge of the work is a Palestinian Arab contractor, who explained that he works in cooperation with the IDF and even has a permit to enter IDF bases."

Uh, so what? Isn’t the idea that both peoples work together and prosper together? Whether the land gets divided into two or three states or becomes one big state... everyone has to work together for their own prosperity and for the future generations.

Mean time, I repeatedly helped that house cleaner to get working papers for him and his family, and got medical help for his nephew at a big Jerusalem hospital that he could not get otherwise. As it is, his brother, the father of the baby, opted not to pay for the expensive enzyme therapy for the kid, because he couldn’t afford it, and the Jewish community of Neveh Daniel in Gush Etzion, while they donated generously to pay his fees at the Jerusalem hospital, could not afford to subsidize the enzyme therapy. But I did give him about 1,200 shekels to get a respirator. But he died anyway. Right now, his entire village is shut out of working in Jewish settlements due to the war, but I and others in Gush Etzion have donated cash so they can afford groceries.
Now there is a possibility that he’s a total scapegrace, and will one day sneak in in order to murder someone (the military has every inch of he perimeter under constant surveillance, and responds at the drop of a hat, as they should have been doing on 10/7 around Ghaza, a much more volatile area).
But there is the hope that he will be a true friend to those who have helped him, as he was when our apartment was flooded due to heavy rains, and he came and helped us clean up, and the many times we had to owe him for work done due to being broke. But we always paid him, and he knew that we would.
So I think he is a true friend and will remain so. We’ll see. You have to give peace a chance, real peace, which requires cultivating good will in regular interactions, not enforcing a two-state apartheid “solution” despite the bloodshed that trying to implement that has caused.
The murdered people in those Kibbutzim no doubt showered equal kindness on the savages who used that kindness to gather intel in preparation for their mass murder spree.
You can’t trust muslims, not one little bit. If you haven’t figured that out by now you’re beyond any help.

That’s hilarious. You think you can trust anyone? There are different degrees of trust, and with everyone it’s at most “trust, but verify”. I do not trust Muslims. I do trust my friends who are Muslims, but if one of them showed up at my door with a big, bloody axe, at that point I stop trusting.

And if he shows up with 1,000 of his friends and they have grenades and AK rifles it’ll be just a little bit too late for you to change your mind.
Get this into your headgear, friend. All muslims want you dead. I don’t care how nice they may seem. When push comes to shove they’ll either participate or stand by and watch.
