Every time Ukraine received new US weapons,
———-
The definition of stupid, doing the same thing and expecting different results. The F-16’s will go the way all our other wonder weapons have gone- up in flames, M1’s, Leopards, Bradley’s, M113’s, M777’s, Patriots, etc, etc, etc…..why does the West continue to flush everything down the Ukie toilet?

Like Vlad correctly stated, western equipment burns just like all the rest.

The U.S. Air Force would receive enough money to buy 51 F-35A fighter jets in fiscal 2024 under the compromise Pentagon spending bill lawmakers released Thursday — three more than the service originally requested.

If enacted, the allotment would mark the most Joint Strike Fighters the Air Force has bought in a single year since 2021, when it procured 60. The service had included 48 F-35As in its fiscal 2024 budget request.

The FY24 defense appropriations bill would provide the Air Force more than $5.2 billion for F-35A procurement, an increase of nearly $361 million over the original budget request. The program increase of three additional F-35As would account for $277 million of that growth.

The purchase would still remain far below the minimum annual buy of 72 F-35s the service argued for years it needed to modernize its fighter fleet, while keeping up with the pace of older jets leaving the inventory. The Air Force plans to buy more than 1,700 F-35As, totaling nearly $250 billion, over the life of the program, according to FY25 budget documents.

Putin replied: "Of course, if they are used from airfields of third countries, they become a legitimate target for us, no matter where they are.

Is this even debatable?

For all your talk about "training Ivans", how superior the Russian military is, the facts are that Russia has not won has Ukraine has not. For all the talk of Russia could win if they let loose, Russia is about to win, Russia. Has. Not. Won. Nothing you say will change that.

The facts are Western based hardware, training, operations are superior to their Russian counterparts. If that were true, Russia would have taken all of Ukraine and have its flags along Ukraine's borders from Poland to Romania.

You think like a westerner. “Shock and awe” works great against sandal wearing belligerents. The US has no concept or stomach for a war of attrition and , as we are witnessing, has grossly miscalculated the Russian Federation’s gigantic manufacturing base and resolve amongst other capabilities.

Today’s Russia is not Soviet Russia. The collective West is finally beginning to realize encroaching upon the Bear’s territory is a very, very dangerous and possibly fatal move.

As for now, It is clear Vlad still holds all the cards.Sanctions failed, western wonder weapons have failed ( the 5th M1 has been smoked), Ukie economy and infrastructure lies in ruins, manpower and arms dangerously close to depletion…
Spare me your Hopium, I prefer reality.

Marioupol, Bakmut, Avidivka…it appears Kharkov , the second largest city in Ukraine and largest industrial center is up next on Vlad’s chopping block… the entire city lies in darkness, no electricity and getting pounded by Vlad’s FAB 500 and 1500’s….this time, Vlad isn’t extinguishing substations, but the power generation facilities…..latest estimate is at least one year before fully operational- IF they can source the parts ( built mainly by Russia years ago).

Sure doesn’t sound like winning to me….and that Ukie toilet is getting hungrier for more $$$.

#26 and #27. This is the Russia that took TWO YEARS to take Bakhmut. Yes sir, Ivan is really showing his stuff versus the leftovers and spares the US and NATO have to offer.

One year or two, with 40 western nations pitted against him, he is doing rather well….his stated goals are being meet- de-nazification, neutrality and no NATO. Keep in mind, he could turn Ukraine into one huge smoking hole overnight….be grateful he has shown much restraint….Vlad will dictate the outcome, on his terms.
