That's my take on Fetterman as well. There are plenty of communist Jews who support Israel, it has nothing to do with conservatism.
So far, the only thing he's done that wasn't expected is say the border is an issue. I didn't take it as a solid position against illegal immigration. More like he knows his constituents, in a Jack Murtha sort of way.
