Former CBS News senior investigative correspondent Catherine Herridge is in talks to join X, The Post has learned.

The award-winning journalist — who was controversially fired by CBS News in February in a round of layoffs by corporate parent Paramount — met with X CEO Linda Yaccarino at The Jefferson Hotel in Washington, DC earlier this month, according to a source with knowledge.

“We are in discussions with many content creators who are interested in joining X in various ways. Catherine Herridge is a great journalist who strongly supports free speech,” X said in a statement, declining to comment further.

“Herridge is weighing a number of opportunities,” a source told The Post.

She is one hell of a good reporter. A rare diamond in the rough these days.

Sheryl Atikisson eould be another good one, along with Lara Logan.

Yes she is and that’s why CBS fired her. She was way too close to the truth. I for one cannot wait to watch her unfiltered on X.

That would be a great thing to do. Not just beause it’s so badly needed, or that he’s got X. But because some day soon he will have his own global satellite distribution network second to none. Uncensorable and not controlled by any single terrestrial entity - he could control it from anywhere. Why shouldn’t he provide content as well? In order to stop him they’d have to stop all the other “tech companies” who enjoy the same protection.

Agreed.

I think that Catherine Herridge is a spook, an interesting spook who is predicting a black swan event to occur this year.

Any time a republican or conservative or truth-telling reporter gets hired by a far-left/liberal ‘news’ organization, he/she has to be on the lookout for a pink-slip, for any reason or no reason at all. Question is, why even bother to go there?

Pretty funny. What’s to talk about? Just make an account and post some content.

I’d rather see her on Real Americas Voice or Newsmax. Too many RATS on X, that clutter it up with lies.

Cut in pay. Just ask O’reilly and Tucker. At least they’ll never go hungry or cold.

“… along with Lara Logan.”

She had a report yesterday that said a former intelligence official told her that it might have been Chinese hackers that caused that ship to ram the Key Bridge.

I don’t know about that. I prefer the usual poor maintenance and stupidity.
