What was this Benford analysis on? What digits?
Took a chance and looked her up for you guys.
But you had hope and that's all that's important.
WAPO has an interesting take: Former Milwaukee election official convicted of absentee ballot fraud
Kimberly Zapata, the city’s former deputy elections director, was tried in an unusual case that pitted a self-proclaimed whistleblower against election conspiracy theorists
LOL
I think Zapata was attempting to PROVE there was a serious problem.
Zapata stated that “she went to the MyVote website and fabricated three individuals who did not exist,” the complaint says.
“Zapata did this because she wanted to make a point that there is fraud in existence. She stated that it is not the conspiracy theories out there, but she wanted to bring the actual true fraud out. Zapata stated that she felt overwhelmed due to the threats of violence the Election Commission was receiving, in addition to the constant daily harassment and accusations of lying and hiding things. She stated she wanted the truth to come out so that they could focus on the actual problems.”

Meh. In her mind, the serious problem was military absentee votes.
She considers early counting, late counting, lack of ID, lack of security protocols (physical & cyber), chain of custody concerns, etc., to be conspiracy theories.
It’s a Benford analysis of the precinct returns for Milwaukee. The dataset came directly from the Wisconsin state election files in “csv” format. I wrote a short Python program to analyze the precinct returns, and create an output “csv” file with the plottable data. Then imported to MS/Excel for the charts.
Interestingly, Madison’s data was consistent with the Benford standard, as well as Superior, WI, and Green Bay. That’s a strong indication that there should have been a forensic analysis of the votes, not just a recount.
Got it. What numeric value were you looking at? Precinct total vote counts?
Yes, precinct totals by candidate.
