Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador warned on Sunday during an interview with "60 Minutes" that unless the United States complies with Latin America’s requests for aid, the tide of migrants will continue.
In January, Obrador issued a series of demands for what the U.S. must do to stop the flow of migrants to the border, ranging from sending Latin American countries $20 billion in aid a year to granting some level of amnesty to illegal immigrant workers in the U.S.

A nice 50% tariff on goods coming in from Mexico and a 60% tax on remittances sounds like a good place to start negotiations.

This must be collusion with our government. It merely provides an excuse for our politicians to do nothing about our own sovereign nation’s borders and pretend we need Mexico to do what we claim to be unable to do.
If we believe we can stop the flow after 5K per day why can’t we stop the flow after 1 per day?

with most of the money arriving from the US, according to
Banxico, Mexico’s central bank.
The figure is a 7% hike from the previous year.
Sounds like a declaration of war, complete with an invading army.
Better do it before Trump is back in and Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California have major land increases to the south.
